Catherine Lyons was established in 2006 in the village of Goudhurst in the rolling hills of the Garden of England.
What started out as a slight obsession for collecting other peoples’ neglected objects, painstakingly revamping them and presenting them to unsuspecting family and friends, soon turned into something of an addiction. Thus Catherine Lyons the cottage industry was born! Working from the garden studio Catherine Lyons designs, constructs and refurbishes a variety of objects from the rustic to the colourful, mirrors to candle holders, pegrails to minature cabinets. We hope you enjoy browsing through the products on our website as much as we enjoy creating them. We also offer a service painting furniture for clients local to the Tunbridge Wells area. Catherine Lyons provided distressed mirrors in the Sept 8th 2008 episode of ITVs '60 Minute Makeover' The shaker peg rails have appeared in Ideal Home Magazine and recent exposure in local press included our rustic bird boxes in their feature showing ethical and environmentally friendly products.
